Overview
We partnered with Brookfield Properties and Lost Boy & Co. to transform a shuttered fitness center into Swim Club, a sunken dining room with submarine pool views. Created a complete brand identity that celebrates 80s maximalism and Austin's cowboy culture through custom script lettering, illustrated cowboys riding dolphins, and a color palette pulled straight from poolside nostalgia.

THE OPPORTUNITY
How do you make a restaurant-bar-pool-event space inside a Renaissance Hotel feel like the opposite of corporate? The space needed an identity that could work across wildly different contexts, wood-fired dinner service, late-night rodeo room vibes, and daytime poolside cocktails, without feeling schizophrenic.
THE SOLUTION
We leaned into unapologetic fun. The script logo feels like '80s nostalgia. Illustrations mash up cowboy hats with swim goggles, bronco riders on dolphins. Messaging like "Are You Randy?" and "Pool It Together" keeps the tone light and playful. The brand system uses cream, teal, pink, and midnight across menus, merch, matchbooks, and staff uniforms, referencing 80s aerobics more than a dress code for hospitality.
